HRVCCLVU Performance Series Heat Recovery Ventilators The Carrier Heat Recovery and Energy Recovery Comfort Ventilators are designed to operate as an integral part of a total HVAC system while improving a homeowner¿s air quality. As the Comfort Ventilators exhaust stale indoor air to the outside through the recovery core, fresh air drawn from outside is warmed or cooled by the energy present in the exhaust air. Excess wintertime humidity is flushed from the house as are indoor contaminants by the HRV. The ERV removes moisture from the incoming humid air during cooling season while also diluting and flush-ing out stale, polluted air from the home. Operating efficiencies up to 84%.
